In the San Francisco Chronicles, a Sunday cartoon depicts an Arab family riding on a camel in the Sahara Desert. Children in the back are incessantly asking the father in the front, “Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?” The exacerbated father yells back, “For crying out loud, we are nomads!”
Life is a journey. Life is not really about arriving somewhere. As the old adage goes, “The journey IS the destination.” Our sacred journey is guided by the trinitarian principle of Journey Inward, Journey Outward, Journey Together.
