Shame is universal. Shame is the Rosetta Stone, a hermeneutical key, to unlocking the mystery of human behavior. No human has escaped the experience of shame. Shame disconnects you from God, yourself, and others. Shame creates separate self. And at the same time, shame is the portal through which you enter and find yourself that the universe has been waiting for. Either you live in shame or you live in grace.
