Message to All      Legacy of Jane Goodall: “What Animals Teach Us”       Pastor John

Jane Goodall died on October 1, 2025 at the age of 91, of natural causes. Jane Goodall’s legacy is profound — spanning science, conservation, and humanitarian work. Her pioneering approach to studying animals transformed the field of primatology and wildlife research. Her method was groundbreaking. Goodall used patience, empathy, and close observation rather than rigid scientific detachment. By earning the chimpanzees’ trust, she was able to document behaviors no one had seen before—such as tool use, hunting, and complex social bonds. What did she teach us about animals and what animals taught her?

Genesis 1:24-25

And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind.” And it was so. God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good.

Job 12:7-10
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you,
and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
Who among all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of every human being.
