About Our Sunday School Program
Tatyana Martinez: Lead Sunday School teacher
Julissa Solis: Sunday School Assistant

Our Sunday School program is designed to provide meaningful, quality Christian education that nurtures and strengthens each child’s faith. We believe that early spiritual formation becomes a lasting source of guidance and strength throughout their lives. By bringing your children to church on Sundays, you are giving them the opportunity to grow in faith in a supportive and enriching environment.

Each Sunday during worship, our pastor shares a special Children’s Message. Following this, children are dismissed to Sunday School, where they participate in a thoughtfully planned lesson, fun activities, and crafts led by our dedicated teachers.

Our top priority is the safety of every child. We have established policies and procedures in place to ensure a secure and caring environment for all participants.

Message                  Living a Conscious & Ethical Life:              Rev. John Song
Part 3) “How Do We Become Conscious & Ethical People”

3-Part Sermon Series: “Living a Conscious & Ethical Life.”
June 28: Part 1) “How Good People Participate in Collective Evil”
July  5:  Part 2) “Celebrating 250th as a Conscious & Ethical Nation”
July 12:  Part 3) “How Do We Become Conscious & Ethical People”

This is the final sermon of the 3-Part Sermon Series: “Living a Conscious & Ethical Life.” In this final message, we will turn our attention to the inner work that each of us need to undertake. Lasting change in our communities and our nation begins not with political victories or cultural movements, but with the transformation of the human heart. A conscious and ethical society is built by conscious and ethical people.

As we mark the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, we are reminded that the future of our democracy depends not only on the democratic institutions we preserve but also on the character of people we cultivate.

Prayer of Abandonment to God
By Clemens Maria Hofbauer (1751 – 1820, Vienna)
I want what God wants
when He wants it,
how He wants it,
because He wants it.

“If people just stop being so defensive, they will be awesome.”
~ Rene Tillich, Therapist and a son of Paul Tillich

“The most fundamental harm we do to ourselves is to remain ignorant
by not having the courage and respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently.”
~ Pema Chödrön

“Freest man is a man who lost all his reputation.”
~ Old German saying

“In the end, there are two kinds of people:
Those who say to God ‘Thy will be done’
and those to whom God says, ‘Thy will be done.’ ”
~ C.S. Lewis, The Great Divorce, 1945
