Message “How Shall I Live for the Remainder of My Days?” Rev. John Song
“What is this? What is this life given to me? What do I do with it? Where is my life going?” Those are good questions. The question becomes even more urgent when we realize that we are finite beings with limited years left in our lives.
By what compass do you follow your journey? What fires your imagination? What unlived life that beckons to be lived? What asks of you something that is so deep within you that perhaps it hurts, but you can’t let go of it because it won’t let go of you? These are some of the “large questions” that need to be asked, especially those of us who’ve entered the second half of life. And so I will share my thoughts on “How Shall I Live for the Remainder of My Days?”
Romans 8:28
“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God,
who are called according to his purpose.”
Matthew 6:33
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy
that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it.
For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life,
and there are few who find it.”
