As Jesus was preparing for his departure, he said to his disciples, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) What is this “Peace” that Jesus gives that this world cannot give? We’ll explore together this deep meaning of peace that is different from the promise of peace from the world.
