“So go out and find what makes you feel free
Climb your mountains, sail the sea
Find your curiosity. You owe that to yourself
So go out and find what makes you feel free
Climb your mountains, sail the sea
You are the artist and the artistry
Of all that was and what will be.”
Message Breath Work: Rev. John Song
Part 3) “Meeting Yourself Again for the First Time”
Life is a journey. Life is not really about arriving somewhere. Spiritual journey is not a destination, meaning it is not a vehicle that will take you to a place where you have “arrived.” As you embark on this sacred journey, you will find yourself a different person than you were when you began.
“We shall not cease from exploration
and the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we started
and know the place for the first time.”
~ T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets
In that way, the journey is the path, the journey is the goal, and the journey is the destination. Through Breath Work, you are invited to embark on a sacred journey of discovering yourself that you haven’t met yet and discover what is bubbling up wanting to come forth.
“Know thyself.”
The earliest Greek inscription found in the entrance to the Oracle of Delphi
[Dating back to 1400 BC, it was the most important shrine in all of Greece.)
“If dunce knew what the fire was before he embarked on a journey
carrying a lantern in quest for fire, he could have cooked his rice sooner.”
~ Zen proverb
“Spiritual journey is 5 inches long and 500 miles deep.”
~ John O’Donohue, the 20th century Irish poet, author, priest, and philosopher
“Where ever you are is the entry point.”
~ Kabir
