Special Music                Beautiful Isle of Somewhere                 David Rios, Trumpet
Above All

David Rios is a local musician who was written about in the Santa Cruz Sentinel for playing inspirational music on the trumpet at the Seacliff State Beach. I serendipitously met David Rios when he was playing the trumpet in the setting sun at the Seacliff State Beach in Aptos. I was mesmerized and drawn to the beauty and power of his trumpet. Well, we’ll get to hear his music this Sunday.

Message                         America, the Land that I Love:                        Rev. John Song
Part 6) “Things Hidden Since the Foundation of the World”

We will examine the phenomenon of scapegoating mechanism that has been hidden since the foundation of the world, and how it’s being played out in America today. How does scapegoating mechanism work? How does Satan use scapegoating mechanism to preserve its kingdom? How did Jesus on the cross put an end, once and for all, the work of Satan.

Leviticus 16:20-22
“When he has finished atoning for the holy place and the tent of meeting and the altar, he shall present the live goat. Then Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the iniquities of the Israelites, and all their transgressions, all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat and sending it away into the wilderness by means of someone designated for the task. The goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to a barren region, and the goat shall be set free in the wilderness.

Luke 23:34
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

Luke 10:18
And Jesus said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”
